The cool thing is that the actual gem count hasn't changed, it's still 27/26 like before, so this really does seem to have fixed it without messing up the other stats. So I only did it for ALCHEMYXSAVE_0.sav which is the autosave for Crash 1, but going off the modified dates I think 1, 2 and 3 are the other slots for Crash 1, then 4 is the autosave for Crash 2. They're located in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Game and the numbers correspond to the slots for each game. So, first things first, I backed up my save files in case it went bad.
So, I had the bright idea that I could probably use this to fix my broken percentage. In that vid, I noticed the guy's percentage going above 105% when he collected things in the test level. This was annoying, but I saw a link on this subreddit to a Youtube vid where you can access some developer test levels. So I am one of the unfortunate people who beat Cortex before getting the gem for Stormy Ascent on PC, which means my game was stuck at 104%, even though it should be 105%. Just putting it in quote in case the link is removed. Hey, if you've been stuck like me at 104% completion because you didn't do Stormy Ascent before beating the game, this guy has found a solution that won't mess your stats or anything.
