Open your Ableton preferences and select ASIO4ALL. Route a third piece of gear, or whatever else you want, to your audio interface.ħ. When playing/recording live with any other gear this becomes a problem, especially if you want to use your studio monitors. The problem is when using the TR8-S interface you cannot use your regular audio interface and therefore can't hear anything, unless I suppose you are using headphones on the TR8-S. The only way to record individual drums is to use the built in USB interface. TR8-S has multiple outputs, but not enough for each individual drum. I had a difficult time doing this so I wanted to make a brief tutorial to save others the hassle.
